Hello!
God bless you all. I want to share with you why it is so important to believe in God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Your very soul depends on it! Your eternity depends on it!
We have to accept the fact that we have all sinned.
How does the bible define sin? Sin is breaking God’s law. The bible is the word of God, and He gives us instructions on how we (His creation) should live. When we break those rules, that is sin. We have to ask God for forgiveness for breaking His rules and then we have ask Him to show us how we should live– according to His standards. Not ours.
We have ALL sinned, and we all need forgiveness from the Lord. We need a Saviour to help us walk through this life. The Saviour’s name is Jesus Christ. He died for our sins. Believe that. Remember this word from the bible, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Saved– meaning, forgiven of ALL your sins, and your soul will be saved from spending eternity in hell. Hell is a real place. Heaven is a real place.
Now that doesn’t mean that you’ll never make another mistake in your life. Of course you will, because you’re a flesh and blood human being. Once we seek forgiveness from God, it means that you don’t willfully (intentionally) break God’s rules. We need His help. If we’re going to get this life right, we need our Saviour, and we need His help.
It’s very simple. Simply start by lowering your head and say in a low voice (because God can still hear you), ‘Lord Jesus, I need you. Please forgive me of my sins, and show me the way to live. I don’t want to continue to mess up. I want to live right, according to your Word. Lord Jesus, you died so that I may live. Thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you for hearing my prayer. Amen.’
Yes, it is that simple. Try it. I promise you will not be disappointed. I made this decision almost 30 years ago, and it is the best decision I have ever made. I have had my share of challenges in life, but I’m here to tell you that facing those challenges have been easier because of my faith and my relationship with the Lord Jesus. Try Him. He will never leave you alone. Guaranteed!
