So, on my last post I told you that I’ve decided to sign up for the courses. Yes, I still plan to do that. The courses will start in the fall, so I’m getting ready. Obviously there’s a cost associated with it, so I have to plan accordingly.
I must admit– I pondered this decision way too long. I kept coming up with more questions, constantly wondering if I should go for it– expecting the Lord to make everything crystal clear. Here’s the reality: yes, God answers prayer, and God honors our faith in Him. Sometimes the answers aren’t going to be crystal clear. But make no mistake, He WILL give you the answers you seek. It’s just that sometimes they don’t always come in ways that we expect.
In my case, I had to realize that all I needed to do was take that leap of faith and make the decision. I had to remember the words of II Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7– for we walk by faith, not by sight. I had to remind myself that God will direct my path. (Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 5).
I encourage you to get to know the Lord. Seek Him. Ask Him to come into your heart; into your life, and lead you. Remember, He loves us all. If you want to know how to get to know Him, you simply read His word– the Bible. I recommend a copy of the New King James version (NKJV) or New International Version (NIV). Make sure it has the words of Jesus in red print. The word of God is alive and powerful, and life-changing.
Be blessed!
