Greetings to you all!

I hope this post finds you well. May God bless you.

It has been a couple of weeks since my last post, and a lot has happened. My mother has issues with her back that may require surgery. My husband has not been feeling his best, and he has some medical tests scheduled, which require a neurologist. Yesterday, I found out that my brother-in-law’s business is in jeopardy. He built a non-profit educational organization from the ground up, and the funding has been eliminated.

Yes, faith in God WILL be tested; but God is faithful.

Regarding my brother-in-law’s business, he was able to secure financial assistance for the next 4-6 weeks. Once that time has passed, we don’t know what the next moves will be. I know that he is grateful to the Lord for the assistance, but we don’t know what the future holds.

My mother has an MRI in 3 weeks which will show exactly what needs to be done regarding her back, and my husband’s tests are next week. We are very concerned about his symptoms because his father suffered from Parkinson’s disease. My husband is afraid that he could be stricken. He’s 54.

Yes, faith in God WILL be tested; but God is faithful.

It is in these moments where we have to trust in God. Admittedly, it can be difficult to do that. We want to control everything that affects our lives, and we don’t like it when we can’t. We want to be in control all of the time. Here’s the reality– we are not in control. The God of the universe, who loves us dearly, holds us in the palm of His hand. He knows about our faults; our mistakes; our weaknesses; and yes– our difficulties.

But we can trust Him. We can trust Him to help us eliminate our faults; correct our mistakes; strengthen us in our weaknesses, and help us through our difficulties. Now, please understand that God will not eliminate difficulties from our lives. Just know that He WILL see us through all of them. He will never leave us. He will never forsake us. You may have moments where you may feel alone and that no one can help you; or that no one will help you. Please believe me when I tell you that He will always help us– if we ask Him. ‘Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you..’ (Matthew, chapter 7; verse 7) Those are the words of Jesus. Believe what He says.

God bless!
