So, I did not realize that it had been over a month since my last post. I will try to post more frequently in the future. As I’ve stated before, my goal is to bring you encouragement from God’s Word, and to share my experiences from having a relationship with Him.

Alot has happened in the past 30+ days. I lost a family member. A cousin who suffered from heart problems succumbed to his illness at the age of 58. It has been a difficult time for his wife, children, siblings. As an extended family member, the grief that I feel cannot be compared to theirs, but he will be missed.

My mother had to have a series of medical exams; all of which came back clean. Praise the Lord!

My husband is still planning to see the specialist that I posted about previously. The appointment is coming up soon. We have prayed, and we know that God is faithful.

I am celebrating a birthday! Yes, God is faithful.

Be encouraged, everyone.

I know there are things that weigh heavily on our minds and hearts on a daily basis. Be encouraged. Don’t allow troubles to steal the joy that the Lord can give you– if you trust in Him. In the book of Nehemiah chapter 8, verse 10 says, “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

We can be strong in Him. We can trust Him. We serve a mighty God; an awesome God, an all-powerful, all-knowing God!

He sees; He hears; and He knows what we are facing. These are tumultuous times that we are living in, but He is faithful, and YES, HE IS IN CONTROL OF IT ALL! No matter what things look like with the naked eye, my God is in control. In the book of Job, chapter 12, verse 10 says, “In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind?” The Almighty God holds us in the palm of His hand. Take comfort in that fact, and be encouraged.

Blessings!
