Hello, everyone!

I know… I know… it’s been over 3 months since my last post. I apologize.

A lot has happened during this time.

I lost a family member. My favorite aunt passed away in June after a long battle with cancer. May she rest in peace.

You may remember from a previous post that I have signed up for the certification courses. I have completed 3 of them now, with one more to go. This last one was on federal income taxes, and it was TOUGH! It kept me super-busy, which is why there has been such a long pause in between my blog posts. I am now on a much-needed academic ‘hiatus,’ with my final course scheduled to start in January 2027.

I just want to give a brief testimony to God’s goodness and faithfulness.

We had to take some time to honor the life and legacy of my aunt; and of course, when you lose a loved one, you need time to grieve. I just wanted to make sure that my cousins and my uncle knew that I would support them in any way I could.

Regarding my classes, the Lord has been faithful throughout this entire process. I have had moments of anger, frustration; even fear of failure. I had to remind myself that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (II Timothy 1:7) But God is faithful. He has helped me along the way. He has given me the wisdom I need to be successful in these courses. I firmly believe that He will continue to do just that, as I prepare to finish up the program early next year.

Always know that the Lord is with you. Even if we don’t acknowledge that fact, He is still with us. Proverbs 15: 3 says, ‘The eyes of the Lord are in every place; keeping watch on the evil and the good.’

Yes, God is watching us. All day. Every day. Every minute; every second of the day. We have to be mindful of this fact. Psalms 34:15 says, ‘The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.’ In this context, the word ‘righteous’ refers to those who have repented and asked God for forgiveness.

During my moments of frustration, I had to remind myself that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. (Phillipians 4:13) You can, too!

Remember that God is with you. Understand your assignment, and remember you can do all things through Christ. He is with you. He loves you.
